It took a dozen volunteers from Curves of Citrus Heights and the GFWC Citrus Heights Women’s Club only 40 minutes to assemble 70 Christmas stockings, which were given to some very special children on December 12th at A Community for Peace’s annual Christmas party. Members of Curves spent months collecting the items for the stockings that were presented along with other toys and gifts to children whose families are working with A Community for Peace to recover from domestic violence.
