CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - San Juan High School is part of a 16-team Sierra Delta Football League, and each year coaches from all the league teams come together to select players who excelled during the previous season.                                              

The Citrus Heights City Council recently honored players from the San Juan High School football team for their achievements. Three groups were recognized for their selection to the Sierra Delta Football All-League First Team, the Sierra Delta Football All-League Honorable Mention Team, and the Sierra Delta Football League All-League Academic Team (players must maintain at least a 3.5 GPA to be considered for the All-League Academic Team).
