Dear Citrus Heights Residents and Community Members,
Your health and safety remains the highest priority among City Staff and Officials as we face all of the different challenges COVID-19 presents to our community. We are working daily to serve the needs of our residents and businesses, while also planning for the future recovery that will be necessary.
We have recently added to our COVID-19 landing page, which includes ways to work remotely with each of our City service lines, links to the daily COVID-19 counts from the county, information on reporting violations, how to support local businesses, and more. Please visit: citrusheights.net/covid-19 to access that list of resources.
We must continue to work together to ensure our community is prepared for any future medical or catastrophic emergencies, including adequate, effective public safety services and emergency preparedness. I want to commend the hard-working men and women with our Citrus Heights Police Department. During this unprecedented time, your Police Department has stepped up, and thoughtfully utilized existing resources to ensure our community and businesses stay safe.
Citrus Heights has a strong history of self-reliance and solid community roots. Now, more than ever, it is important that we honor that history by aligning City Hall’s efforts with your priorities. My sincere thanks go out to all those who have already provided feedback through our City’s largest survey effort — we have over 1,000 responses to date.
While we continue to serve you and plan for the future of our City, I encourage you to share your priorities at CHPriorities.net and utilize the resources at CitrusHeights.net/covid-19.
Sincerely,
Chris Boyd
City Manager
