SACRAMENTO, CA (MPG) - Green Acres Nursery & Supply is scheduled to open a new garden center in Citrus Heights, California, spring 2021. It will be located at 6128 San Juan Avenue, Citrus Heights, CA, at the corner of San Juan Avenue and Greenback Lane. This will be their seventh garden center in the greater Sacramento area since 2003, including taking over the Auburn’s Eisley Nursery in November.

A vacated retail space, the new Green Acres Nursery & Supply is being repurposed for the local, independent garden center.

The new 75,000 Retail Space will include:

• 24,000 sq. ft. of Indoor Retail Space
• 13,000 sq. ft. for Annual and Perennial Greenhouse
• 16,000 sq. ft. Lathe House for Shade Plant
• 2,600 sq. ft. for Houseplant Greenhouse

The Citrus Heights Green Acres Nursery & Supply store will offer trees, shrubs, annuals, perennials, soil, fertilizer, pest control, pottery & decor, houseplants, landscape products & tools, and an Outdoor Living department with patio furniture, grills, and accessories.

The store will create dozens of new job opportunities for the Citrus Heights community.
