What: As part of its commitment to helping customers be water efficient, Citrus Heights Water District is hosting a free WaterSmart class titled, “Turning Dirt into Gold: How to Build Healthy Soil.” In this webinar, instructor Kit Veerkamp will teach attendees about soil basics, the soil food web, the roles of compost and mulch, and how to make room for ground-dwelling beneficial insects and pollinators. This webinar is free and open to the public.
