3 people injured in Citrus Heights stabbing

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) – Three people were injured in the early hours of May 15 after a stabbing in Citrus Heights, according to the Citrus Heights Police Department.

CHPD received 911 calls around 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 15, regarding a stabbing that occurred near businesses in the 6100 block of Auburn Boulevard in Citrus Heights near Greenback Boulevard and Greenback Lane. Two teenagers, a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, along with one adult received treatment at a local hospital after each were stabbed multiple times.

Police suspect that the stabbing occurred following a verbal dispute between two groups of people. The suspect, who is at large, is described as a Caucasian or Hispanic male, around 6-foot tall, skinny, with short hair and facial hair. The suspect may have been joined by a Caucasian woman wearing glasses.

Two days later on Tuesday, May 17, CHPD published a security camera image on social media of the man they presume could be the person who committed the stabbing.
