Our mission exists of volunteers and veterans who serve veterans. We offer various programs, activities, resources, mid-day meals three times a week, guest speakers who deliver education on diverse topics, and several special entertainment events throughout the year for veterans in our community and the surrounding region. Veterans are invited to come in and embrace the benefits that our center has to offer and share comraderie with fellow veterans of all ages.

“We invite everyone to come celebrate with us and support our veterans. We invite all military veterans and encourage others to come visit us and learn more about what we do at the center.” Jeanne Rounsavell, President

At the Veterans Community Center, we strive to provide the absolute best in a haven with solidarity and camaraderie for our local veterans, retired and active. Our private owned and operated 501 ( c ) ( 3) non-profit was established in 2013 by the late Jim Rounsavell, and his surviving wife, Jeanne. We operate solely on the generosity of private donations only and fundraisers.

Jim demonstrated incredible vision and perseverance to help fellow veterans cope, especially those suffering with PTSD and other disabilities. We invite veteran organizations and other community organizations to contact the center to learn more about how they can help with our mission to serve those who have so dutifully served us!
