CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - If you’re looking for a way to get into the holiday spirit, look no further than the Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce’s First Annual Chili Cook Off!

Competing entries to the Chili cook off will be challenging your taste buds to some of the tastiest recipes you’ve ever had on Tuesday, December 13th from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm, at the Citrus Heights Community Center.

Chili will be judged in three distinct categories: Judge’s Choice, People’s Choice, and Hottest Chili. Our judges include Citrus Heights Police Chief Alex Turcotte; Ray Ward, Chamber Board Chair; City Manager Ash Feeney; Mayor Porsche Middleton; and Board Member Al Gonzalez.

There will be additional Christmas festivities at the event so come ready for some jolly fun!

To join in the fun, you can register at www.chchamber.com. Cost for the lunch is $25. To enter a chili it’s an additional $5.

We will be collecting toys for “Toys for the Troops Kids Inc”.  We are asking everyone to bring an unwrapped toy to the luncheon.

For questions contact Renee at: [email protected] or 916-722-4545 Don't miss out on all the fun!
