Hard Rock Live Sacramento Takes Top Spots in Touring and Ticket Rankings

It was ranked number four in the “Pollstar” Top 100 international list of Club venues, based on year-end gross ticket sales. It earned the #4 spot worldwide, #3 in the U.S. and #1 in California. 2023 was Hard Rock Live Sacramento’s first full calendar year of operation after opening on June 3, 2022, with Grammy-winners Maroon 5.
Hard Rock Live Sacramento is the only Hard Rock Live venue on the West Coast. Additionally, Hard Rock Live Sacramento was ranked #21 on the “Billboard Magazine” 2023 Year-End Touring List, International Venues Under 5,000 Capacity, #2 in California behind the Santa Barbara Bowl among four venues ranked in the state. Last year, Hard Rock Live Sacramento ranked #24 worldwide in “Pollstar” after only reporting for 5 ½ months. “Pollstar” also listed Sacramento/Stockton as the #4 concert market in the U.S in 2023.
Additionally, Hard Rock Live Sacramento was ranked #7 on “Newsweek’s 2023 Readers' Choice Awards” Top 10 list for Best Casino with Live Entertainment.
After a year and half of operations, Hard Rock Live Sacramento has hosted more than 222,500 guests to the venue, starting with grand-opening weekend performers Maroon 5 and Bret Michaels. Hard Rock Live has now hosted 128 concerts and five MMA cage fights with Urijah Faber’s A1 Combat. According to the Yuba-Sutter Economic Development Corporation (YSEDC), Hard Rock Live Sacramento has had an economic impact on the six-county greater Sacramento region of $28,071,381 since opening June 3, 2022.
Hard Rock Live Sacramento has been on the radar of industry rankings since its opening. It was nominated for New Concert Venue of the Year 2023 by “Pollstar” in February. At the 2023 IEBA Industry Awards in Nashville this past October, the venue and casino were nominated for Casino of the Year. In 2022, it was also listed as a Top 28 Venue to Watch by “Billboard Magazine”.
