Sunday Funday Brings Family Fun

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - The City of Citrus Heights is celebrating Sunday Funday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 22.

The city welcomes families, friends, and community members to Rusch Community Park to enjoy this free event. Residents and visitors alike can build community connections by joining in on Sunday Funday festivities.

The event will feature inflatables for kids, music from the Citrus Heights Community Marching Band and tours of Historic Rusch Home from the Citrus Heights Historical Society. Citrus Heights Police Department will host K-9 demonstrations for attendees to watch during the event.

Sunday Funday is an event in partnership with Sunrise Recreation and Park District and Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce. This family-friendly event includes booths from business, craft, non-profit, and service group vendors. All activities are free for attendees and food trucks will be on site for guests to purchase food items.

The City of Citrus Heights has hosted Sunday Funday since the City was first incorporated. The event is known for bringing together neighbors and visitors for a day of fun.
