CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) – The City of Citrus Heights’ Sunday Funday event at Rusch Community Park kept the crowd of hundreds happy from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sept. 22.

Whether listening to a marching band, looking at vendor booths, enjoying refreshments or watching community presentations, residents and visitors were all smiles.

There was plenty to see for all ages, from babies in strollers to seniors talking to vendors during the free annual Sunday Funday event. The City of Citrus Heights has hosted the event since the city was incorporated.

Among the activities at Sunday Funday were colorful, inviting inflatables for children, Citrus Heights Community Marching Band performances, Citrus Heights Police Department K-9 demonstrations and Historic Rusch Home tours.

Sunday Funday is presented in partnership with Sunrise Recreation and Park District and Citrus Heights Chamber of Commerce.
