The Sacramento Public Library is hosting a series of Author Talks with local author and outdoor enthusiast Ashley Shult Langdon on her journey to publishing her first book. Copies of the book available for purchase. Free and open to all.

Looking to elevate Mildly Scenic beyond a basic trail guide, Langdon collaborated with Greg Traverso, graphic designer and pop artist, who is the mastermind behind the book's clever cover design. Join the two in conversation as they discuss the process of designing a book from scratch, the use of color to tell a story, and inspiration from the river landscape.
