CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - On Veterans Day, Nov. 11, American Legion Post 637 will hold its annual Veteran’s Day ceremony at 11 a.m. at Sylvan Cemetery, 7401 Auburn Blvd. in Citrus Heights.

On this day, we honor the brave men and women who have served our country with dedication and courage. Their sacrifices ensure the freedoms we hold dear and their commitment to protecting our nation is unwavering. 

But let us also recognize the silent strength behind these heroes: their families. The spouses, children, parents and loved ones who stand by their side, offering unwavering support and love. Their families endure long separations, face uncertainties and make countless sacrifices, all while proving the emotional anchor that our veterans rely on.

To our veterans: thank you for your service, your courage and your commitment. To the families, thank you for your strength, your patience and your endless support. Together, you form the backbone of our nation’s defense and embody the true spirit of resilience and unity.

On this Veterans Day, let us celebrate not just the individuals in uniform but also the families who stand with them. 

Your sacrifices and support are deeply appreciated and your contributions to our country’s strength are immeasurable.

Happy Veterans Day! 

Please join us on Monday, Nov. 11 at Sylvan Cemetery on Auburn Boulevard in Citrus Heights. We begin the ceremony to our veterans at 11 a.m. We urge you to bring your children, both young and older, to be a part of this service.
