Dash for Dwelling

Apr 22, 2025 03:47PM ● By Rotary Club of Citrus Heights News Release

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - The Rotary Club of Citrus Heights is pleased to support Habitat for Humanity Greater Sacramento, as they develop 26 new homes over the next three years on Sayonara Drive. These homes will be on Sayonara Drive in Citrus Heights near the intersection of Sunrise Boulevard and Greenback Lane.

On May 10 at 8 a.m. there will be a “Dash for Dwellings - Almost 5K Fun Run and Walk” on walking path in Tempo Park and Mitchell Village Park. Starting near the Tempo Park tennis courts on Fair Oaks Blvd, this is an “Out and Back” run that stays off the streets avoiding traffic control.

The funds raised will go to support Habitat for Humanity in Citrus Heights.

The price is $35 (plus fees). Everyone is welcome and participants will get a T-shirt.

For more information, visit www.chrotary.com. Registration is on www.eventbrite.com. Enter “dash for dwellings” in the search field.

To learn more about the project, join us for our Lunch Meeting on May 14 at R-Vida Cantina, 7040 Sunrise Blvd, Citrus Heights. Our speaker will be Kimberly Coley, Chief Advancement & Marketing Officer, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento.
