CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - Citrus Heights Water District (CHWD) is offering a community leadership opportunity and is looking for water customers for its Customer Advisory Committee (CAC). Customer Advisory Committee members will learn more about how water is provided in Citrus Heights Water District’s service area. They will also share input on a wide range of water district projects and initiatives.
“We want to engage with our customers through the Customer Advisory Committee to educate them about key issues and hear their perspectives as we evaluate current operations and future plans,” said Citrus Heights Water District Board President Ray Riehle. “CHWD is committed to working with our customers. Serving on the CAC is a great opportunity to learn about community leadership, get to know fellow customers, and network with leaders.”
The committee includes up to 13 residents and four alternate appointments from various neighborhoods across Citrus Heights Water District’s service area. In addition to members, alternate members attend meetings, participate in discussions and are invited to represent the district at community events. The Customer Advisory Committee also includes members appointed from the business community and other public agencies. Citrus Heights Water District welcomes new and long-term customers from all walks of life to apply; a broad array of perspectives makes our community and our water district stronger.
