CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - Sylvan Cemetery in Citrus Heights started a 911 Memorial Service six years ago to honor those who lost their lives on Sept. 11, 2001.

We take time to salute the more than 3,000 men and women who died in a terrorist attack on America. 

This year, the 911 Memorial Service will be held from 8:15 to 8:45 a.m. Sept. 11 at Sylvan Cemetery, 7401 Auburn Blvd., Citrus Heights in the gazebo. 

Folding chairs will be provided for those who want to sit but there will be no mandatory seating arrangements. Everyone is invited to join in this time of reflection and music.
