'Best Lights in Citrus Heights' Winners Named

CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) - The Best Lights in Citrus Heights contest celebrates the holiday spirit of our residents as they decorate for the season. Every year, neighbors can nominate each other for one of the award categories. After nominations close, the community then votes on their favorites! All nominees and category winners receive a yard sign to display at their residences.
The full list of categories and winners is as follows.
GRISWOLD: Brightest and most impactful display of shining lights. Awarded to 6099 Peoria Dr.
HOLIDAY VILLAGE: The best-decorated block or neighborhood working together. Awarded to Creekcrest Cir.
WINTER WONDERLAND: Chilliest display of icicles, white lights and wintry display. No Nominations.
SNOW GLOBE: Biggest and brightest inflatable display. Awarded to 7143 Karen Rae Ct.
SLEIGH THE THEME: Tells a cohesive story or has a clear theme. Awarded to 6344 Creekcrest Cir.
SANTA'S FAVORITE/OVERALL: Best appearance and overall decoration. Awarded to 7131 Karen Rae Ct.
