CITRUS HEIGHTS, CA (MPG) – The presence of two large metal dumpsters placed outside the front doors in the parking lot of the vacant former Party City store at 6302 Sunrise Blvd. in the Citrus Town Center over the past three weeks are not indicative any recent leasing activity according to the Sacramento office of commercial real estate brokerage Jones Lang LaSalle which is marketing the vacant property for lease.
Work crews were recently seen cleaning out the interior of the former 11,700-square-foot party supply retail store which reopened in a smaller retail footprint in the nearby Staples office supply store along Sunrise Boulevard.
Jones Lang LaSalle is the primary leasing agent for the Citrus Town Center, a 245,000 square foot neighborhood shopping center at the intersection of Greenback Lane and Sunrise Boulevard in Citrus Heights.
“The dumpsters were placed for cleaning purposes and removing metal shelving from the former tenant, (Party City),” said Torren Ragan, senior associate retail for Jones Lang LaSalle.
Both the former Party City store, and the 16,240-square-foot former Rite Aid store at the corner of Sunrise Boulevard and Acadia Drive in the Citrus Town Center have also seen seasonal leasing, but a long-term tenant for either has yet to be found, he said.
