CITRUS HEIGTS, CA (MPG) - The MarketPlace in Birdcage branch office of the California State Automobile Association (CSAA) in Citrus Heights celebrated the completion of a recent five-month remodel on Saturday, May 17, inviting the local community to see its fresh, new modern look.

Families and community members eagerly explored the renovated local branch, located between Cold Stone Ice Cream and Barnes and Noble Booksellers, met local AAA representatives and learned more about available services.

The special grand opening family event which was held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. featured a variety of informative booths in the parking lot, free car seat inspections and a complimentary lunch.

Interior construction began last December. CSAA members who arrived to pay their bills, renew DMV registration or arrange their travel plans have watched as individual customer service and spaces within the Citrus Heights branch office were temporarily moved as interior walls were repainted, a new lobby took shape and new more spacious customer service agent cubicles were built.

The expanded front lobby area features comfortable new seating, a refreshment area and new large wall-mounted display screens providing helpful information for CSAA products and travel services while customers wait.

“This new remodeled branch takes the Member experience to a whole new level, while staying in our current Citrus Heights location,” said Doug Johnson, spokesperson for AAA Northern California who was present for the grand reopening ceremony.

The CSAA Birdcage office opened 20 years ago and employs a staff of 23, according to Jennifer Casenave, its member services branch director.

The upgraded Citrus Heights facility brings streamlined California DMV services, travel planning and insurance options to the community, all in a refreshed, welcoming environment, she said.

“This elevated presence comes with a fresh, modern look and significant upgrades to essential services highlighting the quality of AAA products and services the community has come to expect.”

According to CSAA, the remodeled Citrus Heights branch “embodies the organization’s commitment to being a one-stop destination for members’ diverse needs.”

This recent Citrus Heights branch renovation is part of AAA Northern California’s larger strategy to enhance the member experience across the region. The location other recently modernized CSAA facilities as part of a comprehensive effort to ensure AAA physical locations to “match the quality-of-service members expect and deserve,” according to the company.
